TUCSON - A group of students from the University of Arizona are planning to caravan to Ferguson, Missouri on Wednesday, as part of a national call to end state violence against Black people.
Student organizer Thomas Martin says the "Black Life Matters Ride" is a call to action, a slogan under which Black people can unite to end state-sanctioned violence both in Ferguson, but also across the United States of America.
So far the group has raised $1,700 to fund their cross country trip. They raised the money through a Go Fund Me account. If you'd like to contribute click here.
