PHOENIX - A University of Arizona pre-med student's death after a fall in Las Vegas has been ruled an accident.

22-year-old Emily McCaughan was in Nevada in June and became paranoid that someone was following her, according to family and friends. Police say she took a cab back to her hotel after a concert and was found dead several hours later after falling from her hotel room.

Toxicology reports show McCaughan had Ecstasy and traces of other drugs in her system.

McCaughan's father told the Arizona Republic he believes his daughter feared for her life when security tried to enter her room after receiving a noise complaint.
