UA police want students to "stay alive" during Spring Break

TUCSON - To promote a safe Spring Break for University of Arizona students, the UA Police Department will be holding a Spring Break Safety Fair.

Students at the UA will be on spring break beginning March 9th through March 17th, but before they go, the campus police would like to remind students to "Stay Safe, Stay Smart, and Stay Alive."

The Police Department has partnered with the Associated Students of The University of Arizona to host the annual Spring Break Safety Fair. The fair will provide students with travel and safety information. Representatives from the United States Consulate to Mexico, The Office of Tourism and Visitor Assistance in Rocky Point, The Sonoran Department of Tourism, Customs and Border Protection, The Women's Resource Center, Mothers Against Drunk Driving and The Tucson Police Department will be available to answer questions and to provide valuable safety information to students as they prepare to enjoy Spring Break.

The fair will be held Wednesday, February 27th at the U of A Mall between Old Main on the west and the Cactus Garden on the east from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
