TUCSON - The numbers went down, but the tuition and fee hike is still significant. And its leaving a lot of students at the University of Arizona wondering how they're going to get through college.
"I'm not working right now I'm taking out loans, I'll start getting a job next year now especially with the tuition going up. I'm kind of worried actually," said Lance Harrison.
"I'm paying all those extra fees and its just really tough, you have to work jobs you have to find extra ways of loans which in the end can hurt you," said Monica Monteilch.
There's a Facebook group known as the "Mad Fee Party". Students from the U of A, ASU and NAU are all members and they are all in opposition of what happened today.
Evan Lisull who\s a member said he has a scholarship, but with the new increase he might now be entirely covered.
"I have to graduate next year I can't hang around for one more year and just pay that out of pocket, thats just out of the question," said Lisull.
Lisull knows the tuition increase is out of students hands but believes the student body should be able to decide on the fees.
"If students really want these things they have and will chose them if they don't they they have and will reject them and all we want is that choice back," said Lisull.
