Two Tucson High School students charged with assault

TUCSON -Tucson police have arrested two Tucson high school students after police say they assaulted an 18 year old student.

Police say an 18-year-old student was in class taking a test when she was assaulted by 19-year-old Mariah Martinez Monday morning.
Police say the 18-year-old was trying defending herself, that's when another 16-year-old suspect came in and also assaulted the girl.

Police say students and a teacher stepped in to break up the incident.
Parent Julie Moroyoqui says that recognized the girls in the video and says her daughter has also been bullied by these two suspects.

"They are a form of a gang. They are bullying and intimidating and they are so brazen to walk into a classroom and attack while she is sitting there, I have huge concerns."

Moroyoqui says these girls are cheerleaders. Her daughter was also a cheerleader and because of their bullying she quit. Moroyouqui would like to see the school district give strict punishment for Monday's alleged incident.
