Two cameras to start Monday in Tucson

TUCSON - Two more red-light cameras are to be up and running Monday in Tucson.

The newly installed cameras will be activated at the intersections Of East Speedway and North Kolb Road and East Grant and North Swan roads to snap photos of motorists who run red lights.

Tucson police also say the cameras can track drivers' speeds as they approach the intersections.

The police department says infractions in the first 30 days of the cameras' operation will result only in warning notices mailed to drivers.
