TUCSON - The triple digits are hanging around to wrap up the weekend.

Daytime highs are once again expected to be right around 100 today for the Tucson metro area, according to Meteorologist John Patrick. 100 is still above average but much cooler than where we were a couple days ago when we were breaking records. If we can manage to get up to 100 again today it would already be the twelfth time this year. On average we should have only seen the triple digits a few times so far.

There is little temperature change forecast for the next several days. Daytime highs will hover right around 100 through your upcoming work week. Dry air and plenty of sun will stick around for the first full week of June along with some afternoon breezes kicking up toward 15mph.
