Tucson woman gets prison for defrauding WWII veteran

TUCSON - The woman who pleaded guilty, to scamming millions from a World War II veteran was sentenced.

Donna Iman was sentenced to 6 and a half years, and must pay more than $2 million dollars in restitution.

She admitted to stealing nearly $3 million from an elderly Tucson man, so she could get plastic surgery, and buy a home.

Iman pleaded guilty to fraudulent schemes and artifices last week.

She was accused of taking advantage of a 93-year-old between 2010 and 2012.

Prosecutors say the two met at his church and she told him she needed help paying medical expenses.
