TUCSON - A group that formed after the January 8 shootings announced Wednesday they'll be closing the fund benefiting victims and their families.
The fund was the only officially sanctioned one of its kind, board chair Bill Carnegie said.
The remaining money will be distributed to the families and victims of the shootings, Carnegie said.
A small amount will be transferred to Homicide Survivors, a Tucson based non-profit.
Anyone interested to donate to the fund at Homicide Survivors should click over to their website, azhomicidesurvivors.org.
