TUCSON - A 17-year-old died just after 3 p.m. Wednesday when he drove into a wall heading eastbound on Twin Peaks
There were two occupants in the vehicle when it crashed. The surviving passenger, also 17, is being treated at the hospital for serious injuries, Northwest Fire spokesman Cpt. Adam Goldberg said.
The driver was not wearing his seatbelt, Goldberg said.
The eastbound exit off I-10 from Twin Peaks has remained closed since 3 p.m. Stay with News 4 Tucson online, on air and on your mobile device for updates.
