TUCSON - The Tucson Sikh community is holding a memorial Sunday to remember those who lost their lives in the shooting at the Sikh Temple in Wisconsin.
They will pray for the recovery of those injured.
Members of the Sikh community say this is a difficult time for them, as they deal with the tragedy. They hope that the nation will come out stronger and better. They say Sikhs are resilient and will stay in high spirits. They'll use this opportunity to educate others about their community.
The ceremony starts at 10:30am. It includes hymn singing, guest speakers and a community meal.
The public is invited to attend the service. It's being held at the Khalsa Montessori School at 3701 E. River Road.
