TUCSON - 16-year-old Edlina and 14-year-old Albert are mature for their age. They have plans and are hoping you'll be a part of it. Their biological mom and dad lost their parental rights so they're hoping to be adopted in Tucson.
An 8th grader, Albert says "I want to have a good career. I just want to get all my work done in school and play football for the NFL." If not football, Albert says, he wants to be a lawyer.
Their case manager says Edlina and Albert need to be adopted together. Robert Crawford says, "They are protective of each other. At times they might seem at odds, but at the end of the day they really are good at taking care of each other."
Edlina and Albert will tell you, they're determined to make better choices than their biological parents.
