Not long after the NFL lockout ended on Monday, offensive lineman Kris O'Dowd found a new home. And it's not far from his old home.

O'Dowd, a Salpointe graduate, agreed to terms on a rookie free agent contract with the Arizona Cardinals. He will officially sign later this week and will report to Cardinals' camp in Flagstaff on Friday where he will compete for a spot on the 53-man roster.

O'Dowd started at center for USC in college but wasn't selected in April's NFL draft as concerns about past injuries surfaced.
