TUCSON - This week on The Biggest Loser, the pride of Southern Arizona outshone the other contestants and managed to win the challenge.
Jessica, a Tucsonan and one of the 10 remaining contestants on the show, teamed up with another contestant to build a 5-foot tall stack of sugar.
The competition demonstrated how much sugar the average American eats in a year: 150 pounds!
Jessica stepped up her game and built the free-standing tower entirely out of sugar cubes.
This week, Jessica lost 12 pounds. Over the course of the show, she's lost 53 pounds - 19 percent of her body weight!
