TUCSON - The Tucson Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying a serial bank robbery suspect.
Investigators say a Hispanic man held up a Wells Fargo Bank inside a Safeway at 8740 East Broadway Tuesday.
He left before police arrived.
Detectives from the Robbery Unit say he presented a note to the teller, demanding money and threatening harm.
He left after getting an undisclosed amount of money.
After interviewing witnesses and reviewing the security video from the bank, detectives believe he's the same person suspected in four other Tucson area bank robberies.
The suspect was described as in his 20's, 5'05" to 5'07" tall, medium build, wearing white collared shirt with a black shirt underneath, black jeans and a black fedora.
Anyone with information on the identity or whereabouts of this suspect is encouraged to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
