Tucson Police searching for midtown bank robber

TUCSON- The Tucson Police Department is searching for man who robbed a midtown bank Tuesday morning.

According to TPD Sergeant Chris Widmer, a white or hispanic man entered the Tucson Federal Credit Union at Speedway and Alvernon just before 11 a.m. and demanded money.

Widmer said the robber did not imply he had a weapon and no weapon was brandished.

He left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money, Widmer said.

The man is described as 5-foot-6-inches to 5-foot-10-inches tall, with a thin build.

He was wearing all black with a mask.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
