Tucson police: man shot at SE side home

TUCSON - Tucson police are investigating a deadly shooting Monday night at a home on the city's southeast side.

A 58-year-old man died from a gunshot wound shortly after 9 p.m. at a home on the 10,500 block of E. Bridgeport St., near Houghton and Drexel roads, according to Sgt. Maria Hawke. Police have his wife detained but she is not under arrest, said Hawke.

Shortly after midnight, police were interviewing neighbors and were in the process of getting a search warrant to enter the home. Police had not found the weapon and were not sure who dialed 911, said Hawke.
