TUCSON - Tucson Police are asking the public's help in locating a 58-year-old man with a medical condition who went missing from a group home Tuesday afternoon, and has not been seen since.
James William McGuire, 58, left the residence in the 2400 block of South Saddleback Avenue between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. on November 13, group home staff told Tucson Police. He has not returned since.
There is concern for his well-being due to a medical condition with requires him to take medication on a regular basis, police stated in a news release, and because he has been diagnosed with dementia. There is also a concern that he was exposed to the elements overnight, and is without food or shelter.
"Mr. McGuire is described as a Caucasian male, 5'08"tall, and weighing approximately 180 pounds," police officials stated. "Mr. McGuire likes to visit railroad tracks and trains. He also is familiar with the downtown area of Tucson."
Anyone with information about McGuire's whereabouts is asked to call 911 as soon as possible.
