TUCSON- Tucson Police are investigating an early morning homicide in midtown.
According to Sergeant Maria Hawke, police were called to an apartment complex in the 2400 block of North Palo Verde around 3:45 a.m. for a check welfare.
When officers arrived, they found a male in his 60s on the ground suffering from trauma.
Medical personal responded but the male was pronounced dead at the scene.
Hawke says a resident in the complex called 9-1-1 after he heard a commotion going on outside his apartment.
When he looked outside he saw the man lying on the ground.
Detectives are trying to determine the suspect(s) or motive(s) at this time.
