TUCSON - Tucson police are investigating a morning homicide on the east side.
According to TPD, around 12:47am Wednesday, an officer found a man with obvious signs of trauma in the middle of the road on Beverly Ave. just south of 22nd St.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Tucson Police Department Homicide Detectives along with the Night Investigative Detail responded to the scene and continued the investigation. The detectives were able to determine that the victim was a 33-year-old black male. The victims name is not being released at this time.
The Tucson Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating anyone with information about the incident.
