TUCSON - A 16-year veteran of the Tucson Police Department has been indicted on six felony charges, including computer tampering by accessing a restricted database for personal use.

This morning Detective Edwin Richards was served a summons to appear in court for arraignment, which will happen later this week.

Richards was also served with a notice of intent to terminate.

He will remain on paid administrative leave until his termination hearing.
