Tucson murder suspect arrested in Mexico

NOGALES, Ariz. - A fugitive wanted in connection with a murder in Tucson, has been arrested in Mexico.

According to the U.S. Marshal, 19-year-old Angel Efrain Cruz was arrested in the town of Rayon, Sonora on Friday.

He's been taken to the Santa Cruz County Detention Center where he's awaiting extradition back to Tucson.

An arrest warrant was issued for Cruz for a drive-by shooting near the 3900 block of South Sixth Avenue in July 28, 2013.

32-year-old John Drumm died in that shooting.

Cruz could face various charges, including first degree murder, drive-by shooting, aggravated assault, and deadly weapon/dangerous instrument.
