Tucson mayor announces volunteer clean-up effort this weekend

TUCSON - Mayor Jonathan Rothschild this morning announced "Operation Clean Sweep," a self-organized volunteer effort to clean neighborhoods across Tucson and Pima County this weekend.
Mayor Rothschild encouraged Tuconans and Pima County Residents to take time on Saturday, October 20 to pull up weeds and pick up trash in yards and alleyways to help keep Tucson clean and beautiful.
"City staff have done a lot to clean up our medians," said Mayor Rothschild. "This is a chance for Tucsonans and folks in Pima County to pitch in and help clean up our yards and residential neighborhoods."
