TUCSON - A Tucson man is dead following a rollover crash Saturday morning.
A passerby found a Chevrolet pickup truck rolled over on Avra Valley Road near Interstate 10 just after 4 a.m., authorities said.
The Pima County Sheriff's Department and crews with Northwest Fire District responded to the scene.
The driver, Cordi Aaron Perry, 25, was pronounced dead at the scene, Pima County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman Deputy Dawn Barkman said.
It appears that Perry was traveling westbound on Avra Valley Road from I-10 when he struck a guardrail, Barkman said.
Perry was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, Northwest Fire District spokesman Captain Adam Goldberg said.
Detectives with the Pima County Sheriff's Department Traffic Unit believe speed may have been a factor in the crash, Barkman said.
