TUCSON - A man has been arrested Thursday after being pulled over by police and fleeing into University of Arizona Medical Center's Diamond Children's wing.
University of Arizona Police pulled the man over when the man ran out of the car toward the hospital, News 4 Tucson reporter Lorraine Rivera said.
Officers surrounded the hospital and eventually arrested the suspect after he left the Diamond Children's unit through another door.
It was not immediately clear if the hospital was put in a secure lockdown, Rivera said, or if the man was armed.
No injuries were reported.
