Tucson man convicted of manslaughter in shooting death of girlfriend

TUCSON- A Tucson man charged with murdering his 19-year-old girlfriend has been found guilty of manslaughter.
Jonathan Swihart was facing first and second degree murder charges in connection with the case.
His girlfriend, Nicole Katz, was found shot in the chest at a midtown apartment complex in Sept. 2008., and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police arrested Swihart later that day.
