Tucson Hotshot Warneke to be buried in Marana

TUCSON - Bill Warneke, the local Granite Mountain Hotshot killed in Yarnell, will be laid to rest in Marana Wednesday.

The hometown hero's remains will be flown into Marana's regional airport by a National Guard helicopter by 2:15 p.m.

The casket will be moved to a Prescott Fire Department engine to lead a procession to the Marana Mortuary and Cemetary starting at 3:15 p.m. The services will begin outside at 4 p.m.
