TUCSON - With more than 300 days of sunshine in Tucson, why not invest in solar energy?
These days homeowners are curious about solar energy, so the Pima Association of Governments is shining light on solar energy and giving anyone interested a sneak peak.
A solar tour was set-up for homeowners to take a look inside the homes of people who are already using solar power.
After taking the tour, some homeowners like Ray Sharp are ready to invest.
"Oh definitely. We're looking to invest pretty heavily in the local markets," Sharp said."
There is one downside to going solar, and that's the cost. It can be just a little expensive, but the savings in the long run make up for the expense.
If anyone wants to invest, there are tax credits, grants and loans you can get, and to find out more, just go to http://www.tfssolar.com
