TUCSON - A house fire in midtown this afternoon caused plumes of smoke to rise over the city, but caused no injuries and did little damage.
Tucson Fire's Barrett Baker confirms the fire originated in a pile of trash against a residence located in the 100 block of east Mac Iver, near Grant and Stone. Firefighters were dispatched and knocked the fire out before it spread beyond the home's roof overhang.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
