TUCSON - The Olympic medal count for Arizona athletes is on the rise; three swimmers with Tucson ties have won one of each type of medal, so far!
Former University of Arizona swimmers Matt Grevers and Nick Thoman took gold and silver medals, respectively, in their events this week, and first-time Olympic athlete and Tucson native Caitlin Leverenz took the bronze in the 200m Individual Medley swimming event.
