Each year Tu Nidito helps more than 800 children who are diagnosed with a life threatening illness. This year they teamed up with bicyclists from El Tour de Tucson to help a sick child and their families who are going through a difficult time.
This year, one El Tour rider, Brendan Lyons, is going to ride 109 miles to support 2-year-old Giovanni who was diagnosed with leukemia. Through this difficult journey, Giovanni and his family have been recieving help support from Tu Nidito.
Lyons says helping Giovanni has made a huge difference in his life. He's also looking forward to riding in El Tour De Tucson to raise money for Tu Nidito.
