UNDATED (AP) - The power is out in parts of Nova Scotia, some streets are flooded and flights have been canceled as tropical storm Earl moves across the Canadian province.
The storm made landfall on the south shore west of Halifax this morning.
As of 2 p.m. EDT, Earl's center was crossing the Northhumberland Strait, north of mainland Nova Scotia, and was moving northeast at 45 mph toward Prince Edward Island.
