TUCSON - A woman called 911 and reported that she had strangled her son with a cord, Tucson Police Sgt. Chris Widmer said.
The call was made just after 10 a.m., Widmer said. The 10-year-old was found with life threatening injuries inside the home, at the 2700 Block of North Swan.
Detectives are currently investigating the incident as of noon Wednesday. The mother is being questioned by police but has not officially been charged as of this posting.
