TUCSON - A man who was shot Monday night has died from the injury, Tucson Police said.
Tucson Police responded to shots fired in the Barrio Hollywood neighborhood after 11 p.m., Tucson Police spokeswoman Sgt. Maria Hawke said.
Officers with TPD's gang unit arrived to find 38-year-old Roger Catalan suffering from gunshot wound trauma.
EMTs with Tucson Fire rushed the man to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Detectives say a fight broke outside a home in the 1200 block of West Ontario Street. That fight escalated to shots being fired.
The investigation into Catalan's death continues, Hawke said. Tucson Police are asking anyone with information about this shooting to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
