TUCSON - Police say the man barricaded in a south side motel is a bank robbery suspect who called TPD to say he was feeling suicidal.

He is now barricaded inside the Scotsman Motel, located at 3526 E. Benson Highway. Benson Highway is currently closed to all traffic between Palo Verde and Drexel.

Tucson Police, SWAT and the TPD Bomb Squad are on the scene.
