Tonight's Hunter's Moon

TUCSON - Tonight's moon will be full and known as the Hunter's Moon. The Hunter's Moon is the next full moon after the Harvest Moon which occurred last month.

The moon will rise at 5:41 p.m. from the East and according to Chief Meteorologist Matt Brode, the visibility should be fantastic.

The Hunter's Moon gets its name due to the extra light hunters would have to help secure their catch before the upcoming long and cold winter months.
