TUCSON - A little boy lost his life this week in Pinal County, drowning in a swimming pool. This year, in Pima County, we've already had four near-drownings.
At 6 p.m. tonight, News 4 Tucson's Kristi Tedesco is broadcasting live from the Himmel Park Pool as part of the Kristi's Kids Lifesaver program, which exists to prevent these accidents from occurring.
The fatality Pinal County reminds us of the "ABCs" of swim safety: "A" for adult supervision, in case your little one gets past the barrier, which is "B." And then there's "C," for classes - swim lessons can save your child's life.
Tune in to News 4 Tucson at 6 p.m. for more information on the various swimming and water safety classes being offered this summer!
