Tiger Woods showed up for practice rounds at the Accenture Match Play tournament Tuesday.
Hundreds of fans were on hand for his arrival including Araceli Esquivel, an 8th grader from Mansfeld Middle School.
Araceli was able to ask Tiger a question at his press conference. "At first I was really intimidated because he's a really big star," she said. The young golfer wrote down her questions and asked the pro about frustration and keeping a healthy balance on the greens. "He said it was good being frustrated but you do have to get yourself back into balance or you will mess up."
Meanwhile, Tiger told one reporter about his experience in Marana. "It's fun. Brings back great memories for me."
The mere sight of Tiger brought a huge smile to Wendy Maxwell's face. "Well, I think he's a great golfer and it's nice to be out there in the atmosphere enjoying the day. It's a nice day."
