TUCSON - As expected, thunderstorms are starting to pop over the Tucson metro.
According to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish, the strongest storms are sitting over the Catalina Foothills & west of Catalina. These are moving to the west-northwest at 20 mph & will impact Oro Valley, Marana & Picacho Peak by 5 PM.
Gusty winds up to 40 mph and rainfall up to a quarter-inch is expected.
