TUCSON- Northwest Fire said four people were struck by falling drywall at the Embassy Plaza building located at 3912 East Ina Road.
According to NWFD Captain Adam Goldberg the four people were struck in a breezeway outside of the Department of Economic Security office.
Two people were transported to the hospital with minor injuries, another person was treated on the scene and the fourth person didn't need medical care, Goldberg said.
The breezeway is closed until building inspectors finish their investigation.
Goldberg says the building is around 30 years old. Inspectors are looking into the possibilty that rain caused the collapse.
Goldberg says the two victims who were transported are a 58-year old male and a 35-year old female.
