TUCSON - As of 4 p.m. Tuesday, the high in Tucson has reached 84 degrees. If this holds, the streak of record highs come to an end.
A storm system in the Pacific Northwest is on the march and will pass mainly to our North on Wednesday. As it approaches, it will come close enough to pick-up the winds and cool us down a few degrees.
The remainder of the week will consist of mostly sunny skies with highs in the mid to upper 70s; this isn't record heat, but it is still several degrees above average.
The long term forecast tools we use, keep us unusually dry for the extended forecast.
