TUCSON - Temperatures soar 10-15° above average by midweek.
Topping 76° this afternoon, Tucson may have seen the last of the 70s for a while. According to Meteorologist John Patrick, a strong ridge of high pressure will build over the region this week and drive daytime highs 10-15° above average.
By Monday afternoon daytime highs will already be back in the mid 80s under sunny skies. Temperatures peak Tuesday through Thursday between 90-95° bringing the first stretch of 90s Tucson has seen in nearly six months. However, we do normally experience our first 90° days in early April so this warmth is not too out of the ordinary.
A gradual cool down is expected into next weekend with highs returning a little closer to normal. Check out your True View 4 extended forecast here.
