TUCSON-Temps were on the cool side yesterday but that is a quick memory as we head into Mother's Day Weekend. High Pressure from the Pacific Ocean will slide over the Southwest providing ideal conditions for temps to pop near or at 100 degrees.
Chief Meteorologist Rob Guarino says if we get a few high clouds over the weekend we may fall a degree or two shy of 100 but it will still be hot. We typically see a high of 90 degrees for mid May and the 100+ usually comes around in June. Temps have been above normal since March and we see this Hot pattern rolling right into Summer.
