TUCSON - The run at 90 degree weather starts today.
High pressure parked over the state brings temperatures running 10 degrees above average for early April, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Under mostly sunny skies, Tucson tops out in the upper 80's to low 90's through Friday. Expect gusty winds up to 20 MPH at times tomorrow afternoon.
The cool-down commences this weekend, as high temps retreat to the 80's. A cold front barrels in from the Pacific early next week, bringing gusty winds, increased cloud cover and showers to the White Mountains. High temps Tuesday and Wednesday drop into the mid/upper 70's.
