TUCSON - For the first time since October of last year, the mercury topped 90 degrees in Tucson. The high on Tuesday was 91 degrees.
According to Chief Meteorologist Matt Brode, strong high pressure will continue for the remainder of the work-week bringing 90+ degree temps through Friday. Wednesday and Thursday will be the warmest days where the mercury will creep into the mid 90s.
A weak trough will pass through the region by the weekend and temperatures will fall back into the low to mid 80s under mostly sunny skies.
