TUCSON - Tucson firefighters spent Monday evening battling a two-alarm fire at a warehouse near 24th and 2nd Avenue.
Tucson Fire tells News 4 the fire required 15 units and more than 40 firefighters. Those fighting the fire took a defensive approach to the fire, meaning they fought the fire from the outside.
Crews on the scene called Tucson Water to come out and boost the water supply so they could get as much water on the flames possible.
There is no immediate cause of the fire, but damage is estimated at $500,000.
No injuries have been reported, but Tucson Fire says they do not know if anyone was inside the building because it was too dangerous for crews to go in.
