TUCSON - Mostly sunny skies and warm temperatures hang around to wrap up your weekend.
Daytime highs came down a few more degrees for Sunday but still hover right around 100 to end the weekend, according to Meteorologist John Patrick. High clouds and an afternoon breeze offer up a little relief from where we were to start the weekend. Peak wind gusts for Sunday were up near 25mph for most of the region.
Little change is expected over the next few days with daytime highs staying near the century mark putting us just a couple degrees above average. Southwesterly flow will clear the high cloud cover out by tomorrow and we should return to sunny skies for the week. However, the afternoon breeze sticks around for the next few days jumping up to 10-20mph with slightly stronger gusts.
