TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - Tempe police have made a fifth arrest in connection with brawls that left several people injured that injured five Arizona State University students at apartments occupied by members of a fraternity.
Police say they arrested four people soon after the fighting early Sunday morning apartments, and police announced Monday morning they've taken a fifth person into custody.
According to police, the trouble began when students and two other people fought over a female. One person was injured.
The fighting resumed after the non-students left but then returned with more no-students.
Four more people were hurt, include one seriously injured when hit on the head.
Some of the non-students shot guns into the air while leaving.
Police spotted the departing vehicle and officers arrested four of the occupants.
