FLORENCE, Ariz. (AP) - An 18-year-old San Tan Valley student charged with sexually assaulting about a dozen girls will remain in custody.
The Pinal County Attorney's Office says a judge on Wednesday ordered Tyler Kost continue to be held without bond.
County Attorney Lando Voyles says the decision was made after a two-day evidentiary hearing.
The teen faces multiple counts including sexual assault with a minor, sexual abuse with a minor and sexual conduct with a minor.
The Pinal County Sheriff's Office arrested Kost in April.
They allege he targeted victims ranging from ages 12 to 17 between October 2009 and last April.
Kost's defense attorney, David Michael Cantor, did not immediately return a message seeking comment Saturday.
Kost's next court appearance is scheduled for Aug. 11.
