TUCSON - Toffee, the adorable 2-year-old Great Pyrenees mixed featured on News 4 Tucson's Tail Wagger Thursday's, has been adopted!

Toffee, a sweet, affectionate, house-trained dog is just one of the many animals up for adoption by the Humane Society of Southern Arizona.

For the next two days (through the end of the month), HSSAZ is offering free adoption of many of its dogs and cats!

Also, in celebration of the 4th of July, all mixed-breed dogs over 5 months old and over 25 pounds will have a $4 adoption fee July 1 - July 8, excluding a $16 licensing fee.

Every adoption includes a microchip, up-to-date vaccinations, spay or neuter surgery, a bag of food, and a free visit to the vet of your choice.
